COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT

AM Health and Safety, Inc. is proud to announce that Chad M. McClimans has joined the company as Vice President of Operations. In this newly created position, Mr. McClimans is responsible for managing all aspects of the AM Health & Safety operating systems, including but not limited to: working directly with AM Health & Safety staff and management to ensure exceptional client relationships are developed and maintained, reviewing business processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement in order to better serve clients, reviewing products and services for quality assurance purposes, serving as a mentor to AM Health & Safety staff and junior / mid level managers along with growing the business, indentifying value added services and serving as a client leader or main contact for certain clients.

Mr. McClimans brings to AM Health & Safety extensive experience in safety and industrial hygiene. Prior to his return to AM Health & Safety, Chad spent seven years at a seamless tube manufacturer / processor, with responsibility for safety, health and security management for a steel production facility, seamless pipe mill and three end finishing and shipping facilities. In this capacity, Chad has gained key knowledge in developing and implementing continual improvement based management systems (OHSAS 18001), contractor safety management systems, safety through design, change management, lean manufacturing processes, six sigma methodology, risk assessment and reduction, developing and implementing programs, policies and procedures, strategic planning, incorporating leading indicators into company and personal goals and integrating safety and health into business processes. Mr. McClimans also has substantial experience in the aluminum industry and consulting to heavy, medium and light manufacturing, institutional and service industry clients as well as conducting failure modes and effects analyses (FMEA), outage safety, international safety and health, radiation safety, standards interpretation and auditing EHS systems. Chad is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving as a Hospital Corpsman for five years.

Mr. McClimans earned his bachelor of science in Environmental Health from Youngstown State University. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Mr. McClimans has published safety and health related articles in professional trade association journals. In addition to the above-mentioned experience and specialties, Chad's areas of interest are leadership development, continual improvement, lean manufacturing systems, corporate responsibility, sustainable development, quality assurance and industrial toxicology. Mr. McClimans is active in professional and trade associations, having served as Chairman of the Safety & Health Technology Committee (SHTC) of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST). Chad currently serves as Education Chair for the AIST SHTC, leading efforts to organize the annual AIST Safety and Health Specialty Conference.
